As a result, Parasol Events offers wedding and event services that are entirely customizable to meet the specific needs of our brides and grooms. Listed here are our most popular requests.

When securing the services of Parasol Events the client/couple will be asked to sign a contract. A retainer of 50% will be expected at the time of contract signing so that the project may get underway.

Whether purchasing Full Event/Wedding Package or hiring us for Wedding Day Direction through our “Day of” Consultation & Coordination package, it is essential that your Parasol Event representative remain informed when any changes or new decisions are made. If a special activity such as the lighting of a unity candle, a musical solo, or any other unique addition is incorporated in the event it is important that the wedding coordinator be apprised of the program revisions as soon as possible. This ensures the smooth flow of activity during the event.

Parasol Events is in the business of executing the desires of their clients and serving as their loyal advocate. The couple/client retains all responsibility for the decision-making related to the project. The wedding coordinator serves as a well-informed guide with valuable contacts and priceless experience.

Full Wedding Package

OUR MOST POPULAR PACKAGE OF HAWAII WEDDING PLANNING SERVICES

Full Wedding/Event Package is the ultimate collection of services:

  • Introductory Consultation this initial exchange allows the Parasol Coordinator and the client to discuss event vision, initial needs and to learn a little about each other.
  • Interview & Educate this stage is designed to further flesh out the vision of the client, gather all relevant information about the bride and groom, family members and the wedding party. Your Parasol Coordinator will also educate and share industry information in order for the client to make informed decisions.
  • Vendor Selection Process this process is an exciting one as wedding and event vendor referrals are revealed, crucial elements are considered, vendors are contacted and meetings are setup. In addition, dates for the event are finalized and reserved.
  • Timeline Development this stage involves the development of the schedule for the day of the event, one of the most important milestones of the wedding planning process.
  • Ongoing Details Management from start to finish, the client and their Parasol Coordinator consistently maintain active communicate on the progress of all aspects of the event. Priorities are established and details are discussed and resolved.
  • Rehearsal a Parasol Coordinator plans and attends the Rehearsal. This is a time to establish communication with your entire wedding party and family: bringing everyone onboard with the timeline and their specific roles.
  • Wedding Day Direction a Parasol Coordinator will attend and professionally coordinate all activities on the day of the event. The coordinator will be present two hours prior to the beginning of the event until the end of the formal program. This further includes fielding vendor questions during the course of the event, managing the timeline, handing out checks and receiving signatures of receipt from any outstanding vendor payments: and generally striving to insure everything goes as planned during the event. Your Parasol Coordinator is pleased to be “Keeper of the Clock”.

Available for booking up to eighteen months prior to event date.

“Day of” Consultation & Coordination

This Parasol Events wedding service is for couples that have planned their event themselves and would like some assistance in the home stretch and at the event itself.

In general, collaboration between a Parasol Event coordinator and the client begins 4 weeks prior to the event. To get started, the couple will provide their wedding coordinator with a copy of all signed vendor contracts. The Parasol Events wedding coordinator will review these contracts and further interview the couple to determine what choices have been made and what the expectations are. After reviewing all the information the couple will be advised of any pitfalls or concerns that the Parasol Event coordinator identifies. Next, the event timeline is finalized and the Parasol Events rep contacts all vendors to make sure everyone is clear on roles and responsibilities. The Parasol Event wedding consultant will attend the dress rehearsal for the event as well as provide all of the services listed for Wedding Day Direction below.

“All Inclusive” Package

For those who desire a simple wedding affair – getting married on Oahu
has become simpler.

Parasol Events offers an “All Inclusive Wedding Ceremony” that includes the highest quality wedding team, attention to details and tropical elegance that brides and grooms are searching for…in just three (3) steps!

BEGIN with the Wedding Ceremony. All Parasol Events Wedding Ceremonies include the following;

Step Three – Email your selections to Parasol Events

  • Email your selections to Parasol Events and your custom proposal will be emailed within five business days.

*Since August 2009 the State of Hawaii DLNR (Department of Land and Natural Resources) requires a permit (which is included with our Public Beach Location) that stipulates the following;
– no arches
– no amplification
– no chairs unless medically necessary
– no alcoholic beverages

Consulting Wedding Package

Parasol’s Event Consultation – some couples are seeking a brief organizational meeting so that they may forge ahead themselves. This package consists of two (2) concentrated one hour sessions. Prior to the start of each session the client and the consultant will predetermine the agenda. Up to 3 referrals per session are included. We would be happy to help you get started with this event planning power session. Contact us today.

A la Carte Services are offered individually to accommodate the varying needs and expectations of our clients.

Pre-Planning Wedding Package

Pre-Planning Vacation – this exclusive ala carte service is available for those couples that wish to fly in to Hawaii for two days of hands-on planning. A Parasol Events representative will orchestrate your time efficiently from arrival to departure to effectively conquer as many planning challenges as possible, while still allowing time for a little fun! This Getaway package, which does not include airfare, allows the couple to familiarize themselves with the island in a way that results in an even more relaxed wedding day.

*Airfare, transportation, hotel and meals are additional.
