Parasol Events has been operating since 2004 in Honolulu Hawaii. Since our inception we have steadily produced elegant weddings, exceeded our clients' expectations and earned the respect of our peers in the wedding industry.

2.Do you offer complimentary consultations?

Parasol Events offers complimentary phone consultations so that we can understand our potential clients expectations, desires and needs. This in turn enables us to recommend the right level of service for their Hawaii wedding.

3. How many weddings do you do a year?

Parasol Events is committed to every event that it accepts. Each coordinator individually manages their monthly event schedules, to assure responsiveness and availability to all of our clients and vendors. Generally we accept no more than 3 events per consultant per month.

4. What is unique about Parasol Events?

We are committed to operating our business professionally and for setting the bar in the wedding and event planning industry. Parasol Events is the only Hawaii based wedding consulting company to have earned "Consultant Status" with the Association of Bridal Consultants. Yes! We are your partners in planning and our job is to help you execute your vision. You are the inspiration for every detail. Our mission is to help you define your needs and then suggest the services, locations, products, etc. to make it happen.

6. How soon can we start?

Once you have decided to work with Parasol Events we can get started as soon as we have a signed contract along with the required retainer fee.

7. When should I reserve my date?

While brides and Grooms hosting a summer weekend wedding face the most competition for availability, we encourage couples to lock in their date with Parasol Events as soon as possible.

8. Do you work with budgets?

Yes, and those budgets are fairly wide ranging. Our client budgets range from $10,000 to over $100,000. We take pride in creating elegant and relaxing wedding experiences for each of our clients.

9. Do you provide an emergency kit?

Yes! On the day of your event we provide an extensive kit with over 100 items that we have carefully selected to have available to our clients and their guests. This kit ranges from the obvious items such as a sewing kit and safety pins to more obscure things like black dress socks for the forgetful groomsmen and foundation for bridesmaids who have undesirable bathing suit strap marks.

10 .Do you attend the rehearsal?

Absolutely, this is a great opportunity to communicate with your wedding party and family. Not only do we help organize the ceremony but also we take this time to review your event with everyone who will be participating so that they are familiar with the timeline, understand their role and know how they can help assure a smooth day!
